The Girls Tennis team enjoyed a very successful season this year. The girls compiled an 11-0 overall record with a 7-0 record to win their second straight Inter-Ac title. The team worked very hard from the first day of preseason on all aspects of the game, physical and mental. Led by their captains and returning letter winners, they showed a great desire to succeed from the first day. Throughout the close, difficult out-of-league matches early in the season, the team formed a very close bond that would prove invaluable throughout the rigorous Inter-Ac season. The team never showed a sign of complacency and always worked on improving their game. The team was outstanding in close matches which ultimately clinched the title. Practices were always full of laughter and hard work and the matches full of intensity and solid play. They were a delightful bunch of girls to work with, and I'm already looking forward to the team next year and setting even higher goals for ourselves.
