The 2003-2004 Boys’ Squash Team had a successful season.
Finishing tied for first in the Inter-Ac and fifth in the MASA tournament
were signs of the consistent play by all of the varsity players. Highlights
from the season were exciting home wins against Chestnut Hill, Haverford,
and Penn Charter, and winning the league for the first time in seven years.
The solid play of our top two players, Trevor McGuinness and Bernard Yaros,
led the way for success. Juniors Pat Pasquariello, Kit Zipf, and James
Francis had many key wins. Freshman Max Crockett and sophomore Peter Vale
rounded out the ladder. The team would like to thank our two seniors,
captains Nick Krotec and F.J. Leto. Their leadership and sportsmanship
set the stage for the entire season. With several young players ready
to move up from the junior varsity, we are looking for more success next
year.
