Saturday, November 8th at the Episcopal Academy

Every Fall the Boys' Football, Soccer and Cross Country teams from EA and Haverford compete on a single day.
(Starting in 2002, a Water Polo match has been included). The winner of the most games gets possession of the EA-Haverford sweater for the coming year. The sweater bears the colors from both schools and shows the years when the respective teams have won it. EA won the sweater in 2002 and retains it for 2003.

Football
EA jumped out to a 6-0 lead early in the first quarter and lead all the way to a 31-7 win.

Soccer
Not even an overtime period could break the evenly matched play of both teams. EA lead early 2-1 and Haverford came back to tie it up 2-2 in regulation play.

Cross-Country
Episcopal and Haverford had an excellent race on Sat. November 8th with Episcopal winning 25-31. Episcopal went 1-2-3 in the race which was held behind Lankenau Hospital. Packy McCormick finished first, followed by senior captain Nick Brown and sophomore Andrew Keller finished third. It was a beautiful day for a race and Haverford put up a good fight, but you cannot overcome a 1-2-3 finish by your opponent in cross country. Episcopal always looks forward to this traditional race because of the great competition with the Haverford School. - Coach Jim Farrell

Water Polo
This year’s match was a runaway with EA jumping out to an early lead and holding it for a 13-3 victory.
